,Due to the Draconian efforts in disarmament and Constitutional of certain state legislatures, TOTAL FORCE HOLDINGS, INC. has updated it's policy on accepting certain current government employees of, or stationed within the territorial borders of the following states for firearms training:
-California
-Colorado
-Connecticut
-District of Columbia
-Hawaii
-SPECIFICALLY Cook County and Chicago, Illinois
-Maryland
-Massachusetts
-New Jersey
-New York
What do all of these jurisdictions have in common?
Either a so-called "assault weapons ban" or magazine capacity restriction.
By current policy, effective at 1100 our time today 3 July 2016, ALL current employees of any Federal, State, County, or Local government agency stationed (even if TDY) in one of these jurisdictions are REQUIRED to comply with the same laws as a normal citizen of that state when taking TFHI training. Further, TFHI WILL NOT travel to these states for any reason... If you want to host a class and are in one of these states, you may as well hang up the phone because I certainly will. The only exemption to this requirement is active duty United States Armed Services members. This policy DOES fully apply to the National Guard, as they serve the State Government directly in addition to the US Army.
Specifically, this applies to the following within a gun-control state:
-ANY Law Enforcement Officers
-ANY Federal Agent
-Representatives of the Courts
-ANY elected official
-ANY individual employed by an elected official for matters pertaining to their office
-Any individual with powers of arrest
-Members of a State Guard, National Guard, Air National Guard, or other form of state armed service.
-Any non-sworn employee of an agency tasked with law enforcement
-Corrections Officers
-ANY individual exempted from current state gun laws
Retired personnel from these states are considered "normal citizens" for purposes of this policy, as they no longer have powers of arrest.
While I do very much support these people in what they do, they are the muscle by which the states will enforce their ridiculous and in my mind unconstitutional gun laws that will put these people in the position of either violating their oath to the Constitution or getting fired from the job they rely on to support their families. As such, since the ENFORCER makes the law work, they are included in this policy. Don't like that people do you this way? Plenty of Free States looking for certified officers right now...
What does this mean?
-if the state you work in requires normal citizens to use reduced capacity magazines, you are required to load your magazines while training with us to no more than the number of rounds allowed a normal, lawful possessor of firearms.
-If your state has an assault weapons ban, the weapons you are using in class must comply with such restrictions and shall not differ from that form of firearms which would be lawful for a normal citizen to possess.
-If your weapons are department or agency owned.... that would be irrelevant. I don't care who owns it. If your state wants to pass laws that involve magazine capacity restrictions or the banning of cosmetic features on a firearms, and you are entrusted with implementing, enforcing, or passing such a law then IT WILL be applied to YOU on a range I'm conducting training at.
-If you are found to be in violation of these restrictions, you will be immediately and summarily removed from the class without the possibility for a refund. Play by our rules, and we'll get along fine.
If your state passes new gun control laws, we will not come to Occupied Territory to train you, you must come to us in a Free State. If you are a town, city, village, county, state, etc. employee you must comply with current state gun laws in training. YES this applies to Law Enforcement Officers, Federal Agents stationed within that state, and members of the National Guard for that state... basically if you are or may be required or asked to enforce these Draconian laws, you WILL be held to them if you train with us. This does not apply to regular citizens of that state, hence the travel requirement so they are not in violation of your ridiculous laws, but it applies completely to representatives of the government that enacted that law.
I do not like imposing such restriction on people.... and I feel the government has no business to do so either. As such, as I much as I hate to implement such a policy, it is in fact in effect and shall remain in effect permanently.
